Walks in the USA
-
The clubs of the American Volkssport
Association host more than
1,877 self-guided trails in the United States. The walks go through a
wide variety of areas, from National Parks to quaint towns to exciting cities. An independent poll
was taken of a select group of the Association's members to learn their favorite walks
this
year. Click on

There are three basic
types of events:
Traditional
Events
-
Walks, bikes, or swims on weekends and evenings
which are hosted by the local clubs with
staffed registration and checkpoints. You register at the start and
proceed
at
your own pace on marked or mapped routes.
Guided
walks: A guide leads the group along the
route. These usually have a single start time.
Year-round
events:
1850+
self-guided walks, bikes, swims
available most every day. Register at the registration box, take a map and
guide yourself on the route.
All walks,
