This event qualifies for National Heritage and Extreme Program, maximum elevation is 8000' Portions of the trail may be closed during inclement weather. Check with the Park Rangers. Wheelchairs and strollers are impossible. Pets are not allowed on the trail. Restrooms are located in some of the parking lots. National Parks Pass or a $25 fee is required to enter the park.

Please register at Tuacahn Gift Gallery, 1100 Tuacahn Drive, Ivans UT 84738; 435-652-3218, between 10-5 Mon-Sat. Closed Sundays, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Day. From I-15 East or West, take exit 6, Bluff Street Hwy 18. Go LEFT if eastbound, RIGHT if westbound. Follow Bluff/18 out of St George for almost 4 miles. At the light for Snow Canyon Parkway, turn LEFT. Continue on Snow Canyon for a few miles. At a small round-about, go straight across and continue on Snow Canyon Parkway. Follow sign to Tuacahn Amphitheatre. Turn right and then left up Tuacahn Drive. Continue for 1.6 miles. Theater and gift gallery are at the end of the road. The gift gallery is up the stairs and to the left. Ask the clerk for the AVA box. Take box outside to the benches to sign in. Always let customers be served first. Restrooms are located in the courtyard. Driving directions to the event site are located in the box. Please note the event is still about a 3 hour drive from the registration site. Take I-15 to UT 20 and then take highway US89. Further directions are in the start box.
