Start Point / Driving Directions: Plumas Pines Resort Store, 3000 Almanor Drive West, Canyon Dam, CA 95923. From the south, take highway 70 to 89 north. At Canyon Dam at the southern part of Lake Almanor, continue on 89 to Prattville Road. Turn right. At the T intersection where the road ends, turn left and travel about .6 mile to the Plumas Pines Resort Store on the left. MapQuest Map to start.
Awards & Fees: IVV Credit Only
Comments: Event is cancelled in case of snow. Water and restrooms at the start/finish. The start binder is kept inside the store. Please do not interrupt clerks while they are waiting on customers. Call the store at 530.259.4343 for hours if you plan to start early or late. Pets are not allowed on the trail.
