Description:

The walk is in new neighborhoods and some small parks to Whipple Creek Park to an old water wheel that is partially restored. A 2 km addition is offered - all in Whipple Creek's forested area on natural horse trails that are muddy when wet and makes the rating 2 for the added 2 km. The 10 km route is mainly on city sidewalks with some country roads but is not muddy. The 5 km shorter route is just in new neighborhoods and does not go to Whipple Creek.

800 NE Tenney Rd #7 Vancouver, WA 98685. NORTHBOUND from I-5 or I-205 take the NE 134th Street exit. Turn left (west) and head towards Fred Meyer. SOUTHBOUND from I-5 take I-205 exit then immediately take the 134th Street exit and turn right (west) and head towards Fred Meyer. Starbucks is on the SW corner of Fred Meyer building.
