Description: Daily 7:30a.m. - 9p.m. Closed Thanksgiving. The trail is along paved walkways through the historic villages of Douglas and Saugatuck. It will take you past many 19th century sites. Saugatuck is known for its art colony dating back to 1910 and is home to the annual summer film festival.

Start Point / Driving Directions: 48 Center St. Douglas is located about 40 miles SW of Grand Rapids on I-196. From I-196 take exit 41; turn right and go 3 miles toward Douglas-Saugatuck via the Blue Star Highway to Main St. Turn left to Center St and right to the Respite.
