Description: The River Falls walk will pass along the banks of the famous Kinnickkinnic River and its South Fork, through many parks, main streets, and the campus of the University of Wisconsin – River Falls. The walk will pass Ramer Field, the summer training camp of the NFL Kansas City Chiefs. Walkers will enjoy the tree-lined streets and trails of this college town in the fall.

Start Point / Driving Directions: Glen Park is on W Park Street in River Falls, Wisconsin. From I-94 go south on Highway 35. Exit 35 at the Main Street exit. Proceed south on Main Street to Park Street. Turn west (right) on W Park Street to Glen Park. Look for the walk signs and the AVA banner.

Comments: This event is one of four walks being offered this weekend in this area. The Twin Cities Volkssports club is sponsoring two walks on Saturday, October 24, 2009 in Stillwater and Afton. The Madison Area Volkssport Assn is sponsoring two walks on Sunday, October 25, 2009 in Hudson and River Falls.
