Daily, dawn to dusk. You will visit Dallas Park, Hunter Arboretum and Botanical Garden, and pass the Polk County Courthouse. Trail is both barkdust, on paved city streets and sidewalks. This walk qualifies for the Walk Oregon Challenge: Flower, Courthouse, and Namesakes.

500 SE Clay. Southbound on I-5, take exit 261B to South Pkwy which becomes Commercial St. Continue on Commercial St. to the Marion St. Bridge. Right on bridge to Hwy 22. Take Hwy. 22 past Hwy 99 traffic light to the Dallas cutoff. Left on cutoff (Ellendale Ave) until Clay St. Left on Clay to the parking lot behind the hospital. Northbound on I-5 take exit 253, turn left on Mission St. (Hwy22), follow directions to downtown Salem, to the Marion St. Bridge (Hwy. 22). Then follow the directions above to West Valley Hospital. Registration box is located inside the emergency room-waiting area next to the entrance.
