Description:
|
Beverly, Massachusetts is a waterfront community with a rich history. Settled in 1626, Beverly has historical links to the birth of the American Navy. In its growing years, Beverly incorporated the progress of American industralization and the construction of beautifully landscaped summer estates. In the 1900's, Beverly was home to President William Howard Taft's summer White House. Today, the "Garden City" boasts one of the country's finest mixed use restoration projects, The Cummings Center, a transformation of the former United Shoe Machinery Complex.
