Description:

Daily, dawn to dusk. Some areas may be difficult for wheelchairs and strollers and an alternate trail will be available. Exeter was the State Capitol during the American Revolution. Settled in 1638, it is a town rich in history and architecture. Your walk will take you along the Squamscott River, through the beautiful Phillips Exeter Academy campus and includes a visit to the Powder House used to store gunpowder 'removed' from Fort William & Mary prior to the start of the revolution and later used at the Battle of Bunker Hill.

Route 108 and Route 88, Exeter, NH From north or south: From I-93 take Rt. 101 east or from I-95, take Rt. 101 west. From east or west, take Rt. 101. Exit Rt. 101 on Rt. 108 south towards Exeter. At traffic light turn left onto Rt. 88 then turn right into Stop and Shop parking lot. Stop and Shop is open Mon-Sat 7:00 am to 10:00 pm., Sundays 7 am to 9pm.
The Walk Box is in the cafe dining area on a counter under the sign that says Wi-Fi is available. If you enter through the doors on the left then the cafe is on the right. If you enter on the doors on the right then the dining area is right after the Customer Service desk.
