Description:

The 11 km trail is along sidewalks and paved roads. It visits the grounds of St. Anthony’s Monastery, then passes the many boutiques and galleries of Kennebunk Lower Village and Kennebunkport (Dock Square) and proceeds alongside the Kennebunk River out to the Walker Point area (summer residence of former President George H.W. and Barbara Bush). After passing by the Monastery grounds, the 5 km trail proceeds along beautiful Gooch’s Beach and into Dock Square.

181 Port Rd., Kennebunk, ME 04043 207-967-2263. Park in the Village Market Place lot at 169 Port Road. Exit the parking area to Port Road; turn right and walk to the Start/Finish. Enter door from the patio, to your right is a white cabinet with coffee urns on top, a large clock on the wall. The walk box is in that cabinet. From the North or South, take exit 25 from I-95. Follow Rte. 35S, crossing US Rte. 1 in downtown Kennebunk. Continue on Rte. 35S an additional 3.4 miles. The entrance to the Village Market Place is on the right - just beyond the fire station (Washington Hose Company). Closed Thanksgiving. Please DO NOT park in front of businesses. There is parking down toward the back of the lot and across from the businesses.
