Description:

The trail goes to the Cibolo Wilderness Center which MAY be closed on holidays. You will walk along sidewalks & paved roads to get there and you may want to walk in the grass along the creek. Also, there is a "Rails to Trails" section to walk along. At the Nature Center, literature is available showing an optional 1km walk on a nature trail.

35000 I-10 W, Boerne, TX 78006-9201. NORTHBOUND on I-10 West take Exit-540 (TX-46/BANDERA/NEW BRAUNFELS). Go RIGHT on TX-46 for 1 block and turn RIGHT on Norris DR W. (Street becomes I-10 W). Go 1 block and the motel is on the RIGHT. Please do not park in spaces next to the entrance so they are readily available for motel guests who will be registering. SOUTHBOUND on I-10 W. Take Exit 540, TX-46/ BANDERA/NEW BRAUNFELS, and turn LEFT on TX-46. Follow the Northbound directions. The Walk Box is under a table across from the Registration Desk.
