Open daily 9 OR 10am-6 pm. Call to determine. 6000 Ft. 10k/6k New Walk. River Trail rated 1+ Mix of mostly level asphalt and maintained narrow, dirt paths with short, undulating rises. Limited shade. Historic sites along side the Truckee River. Alternate town route rated 3, starts from the Sports Exchange. Winds through charming Truckee. It has some short, steep hills. Many historic points of interest including the cemetary and old jail museum.

At stop sign left onto W. River Rd. Sports Exchange near far end of road on right. Pay parking, 25c register River Walk- drive 1/2 mile to walk start. Town walk, $2/2hrs
