Description:

Sunrise to Sunset. Tubac is known as the place "Where Art and History Meet". The walk will take you along parts of the Anza National Historic Trail along the Santa Cruz River, a route taken by Juan Bautista de Anza from Mexico City to California in 1775. Also included on this walk are the Tubac Presidio State Historic Park, a unique Southwest cemetery, many historic buildings (including St Ann's Church), art galleries, shops, and restaurants of fascinating Tubac.

The registration point is the Comfort Inn in Green Valley, 20 miles north. (Green Valley is 20 miles south of Tucson.) Directions to 90 W. Esperanza Blvd, Green Valley, AZ 85614. (520)399-3736. Traveling south on I-19 take Exit 65 and turn right. Then immediately turn right again into Plaza de Esperanza (just behind the family restaurant). Drive through the parking lot to the very back where the motel is located. Traveling north on I-19 take exit 65 and turn left under the overpass then turn right into Plaza de Esperanza.
