Pets are not allowed in campgrounds and concessions or on beaches and boardwalks. 30% shaded walk on unpaved trail, Gulf Cove trails, and Gulf Beach. See Ospreys and their nests on the Osprey Trail. One brochure lists all FVA State Park walks.

Entrance Station--#1 Causeway Blvd. (727) 469-5942. From I-275 in Tampa, take Exit 39, SR 60 west 13.5 miles; right on US 19 for 6.4 miles; left on SR 586 (Curlew Rd.) for 5.3 miles to park gate. Ask at the park entrance station for the location of the walk-box. It will either be at the station or at the new visitor center.
