Those hoping to get credit for this walk as a Public Gardens walk need to be aware that there is a $2 admission charge to walk through the Historic Garden at the Read House and that the Read House and Garden is closed during the winter months. For this reason, it is not a required part of the 11K walk itself, but it is a requirement for those opting to take the Public Gardens credit.
