Description: The land heritage institute is a 1200 acre parcel of land that is a unique collection of cultural and historic resources. Since the Caminos Naturales Trail System opened in 2011 there are 18 miles of trail that were built by 8 AmeriCorp's volunteer teams.

Location: Land Heritage Institute 1349 Neal Road
Start Point / Driving Directions: From I-410 exit 49 and turn south onto Hwy 16. Turn left onto Watson Rd. and then turn right (south) onto Applewhite Rd. In 2 miles turn left ( east ) on Neal Rd. and look for a pair of gates in a little more than 1 mile on the left.
