Description: This event is on the Pine Creek Rail Trail which is considered one of the best trails to bicycle in the state; the entire 63.4 miles of the trail from Wellsboro Junction south to Jersey Shore is sanctioned as a bike event. If you want to do an out and back bike ride on the entire length of the trail, it is possible to do a 204K ride. Trail heads are identified at *****The start box is at the end of the hall just past the restrooms.

Start Point / Driving Directions: 10853 PA-44, Waterville, PA 17776 (570) 753-8241 ***** From Williamsport, take US-220 S for 14 miles to Exit 120, PA-44 N towards Pine Creek. Go 11 miles to Waterville and the Country Store will be on the left. Look for the Citgo gas sign.

Comments: Store hours are Mon - Thurs 6 am - 7 pm; Fri - Sat 6 am - 9 pm; Sun 7 am - 7 pm ***** "Free Participates" are not allowed. Everyone must pay the $3 fee. ***** The event qualifies for the Pennsylvania State Parks & Forests Challenge. The "B" award is a patch featuring a kingfisher. ***** Participants must wear bike helmets. The trail has a fine gravel surface. We recommend you use a bicycle with wider trails (i.e. hybrid bike rather than a road bike). **** The Country Store has a deli which makes great sandwiches! Suggest you purchase lunch and take it with you on the ride and have a picnic. **** Qualifies for the Pennsylvania Counties Program for Lycoming County. **** There is an Ice Cream Parlor and Little Free Library at Cedar Run.
