Description: Trail is rated 2B. Much of the walk is on sidewalks. Ingram is located along the Guadalupe River and Johnson Creek. It is a unique city of 1900 people with many older buildings made of native limestone. The walk includes several lightly traveled areas along the Guadalupe River and the length of Old Ingram Loop that has a state historic marker. Old Ingram Loop has a variety of unique shops, galleries and artists workshops. Continuing the walk is the Hill Country Arts Foundation with outdoor art, art workshops, a gallery, theater with year round productions and Stonehenge II. The Murals in Ingram, painted on the side of a lumber yard, are 15 large painted panels that show the history of Ingram can be examined along the walk. This is a new AVA walk.

Start Point / Driving Directions: From San Antonio take I-10 to the second Kerrville exit (#505) exit to Hwy 783 and watch for the Ingram sign. Continue on Hwy 783 to Hwy 27 and turn right on Hwy 27. From Fredericksburg and Austin, take Hwy 16 to I-10, right on I-10 and take the next exit (#505) Hwy 783. Watch for the Ingram sign. Continue on Hwy 783 and turn right on Hwy 27. Drive about 4.4 miles on Hwy 27 and turn left immediately after the big Wells Fargo Bank sign, there is also a smaller Ingram City Park sign.
The Park 6.1 miles from the Kerrville intersection of Hwy 16 and Hwy 27.
Ingram City Park is immediately after Wells Fargo Bank, at 3279 Highway 27 in Ingram. The bank has a big sign on the left and the park entrance has a smaller sign. The park does not have a street address.
