Description: Both routes take you around the lake. After circling the lake, the 10k takes you out of the park to Tamanowas Rock Sanctuary, a Native American ritual site. For more information on the sanctuary, visit the website: The 10k has a couple of hills, one of them fairly steep. Well worth the effort though. Discovery Pass is Required. Mapped walk. 5k rated 2B

Start Point / Driving Directions: 1061 Anderson Lake Road, Chimacum, Washington. From Hwy. 101 heading north: At Discovery Bay, turn right onto Hwy. 20. Go 3.7 miles to Anderson Lake Rd., and turn right. Follow this road for 1.1 miles, and turn left into park entrance.

Comments: **In addition to registering at the Eagles Lodge (2018 NW Regional Volkssport Festival, July 13-15 in Port Angeles) for this walk/hike, we will have registration set-up at the park from 9am-1pm on Thursday, July 12, for those that want to walk on the drive to Port Angeles. Mike Zewe will lead a group walk on Thursday at 10am. You can also walk/hike this event on Monday, July 16, on your way home. Please get your books stamped on Sunday if you choose this option.
