Description:

Walk through the "City of Many Trees," along Wenatchee River to a city park and through residential areas. The walk passes through Riverside Park with a 9/11 Memorial that contains artifacts of the Twin Towers and Pentagon. Downtown is home to Applets and Cotlets Candies--stop in for free samples and you can watch them make them! Wheelchairs not advised due to travel on road shoulders and one moderate hill. WSC: 39 Cos. - Chelan, Whiskey-Vino-Brew - only 5K has winery & distillery.

130 Tichernal Way, Cashmere 98815 (509-782-3801). From Seattle, go east on Hwy 97/2. Turn right at stoplight at Cotlets Way, then immediately turn left onto Titchenal Way to Martin's Market. From Wenatchee, go west on Hwy 97/2. Turn left at light at Cotlets Way, continue per above to Martin's Market. Walk box is by deli counter on the left in window ledge. Daylight hours.
