Description: Daily dawn to dusk. Walk on boardwalks and hard packed gravel trail. Boardwalkks may be slippery in wet weather. The Nisqually Refuge has become an important place for wildlife and migratory birds. View songbirds, eagles, osprey and seasonal wildflowers. Save time for exhibits. Free entrance to Visitors Center. Volunteers are on hand to answer your questions (not on Monday or Tuesday). Bring camera and binoculars. This is a National Refuge, so there is a park entrance fee of $3.00 for up to 4 people. Various National Park passes allow entry for FREE (check sign board at Visitors Center).

Start Point / Driving Directions: Chevron Station, 10246 Martin Way E. From North or South on I-5 take exit 114. Southbound exit goes right on to Martin Way E. Northbound turns right at the end of the ramp and another right at Martin Way E. Look for the Chevron Station on the right. Ask staff for Walk Box.
