Comments: PPSF The 15K route visits the two covered bridges, travels on country roads past farms, B&Bs, and through a short neighborhood section in Mount Joy. The 30K route adds on a second loop out into the countryside with more lovely old stone bridges, a few Amish farms, a Mennonite graveyard, and a cruise past a chocolate factory in Mount Joy. Part of the second loop is on Lancaster Countys Heritage Route C bike route. Directions will be provided so you can do either loop separately or both together. Please wear a bike helmet and obey traffic laws. You can access the walk box on the inns side porch without disturbing the owner. If there are diners breakfasting on the side porch, please take the box off the porch to do your paperwork. The inn is a lovely B&B if you happen to be staying in the area overnight. You will be riding roads with car traffic, though the route was selected to minimize this and many of the roads have low usage. If you are concerned about traffic, the best times to do the route are 9-11, 1-3, or after 6:30pm in the summer.
