Description: An urban plunge! Capitol Hill to City Hall, Amazon Spheres to China Gate, and all points in between. Right through the heart of downtown Seattle and the International District. A completely new direction for our Labor Day walk but still stroller friendly. 6K does not go downtown and is somewhat hillier (mostly downhill) than the 10K.

Start Point / Driving Directions: Seattle University Lower Mall = 800 11th Ave.
I-5 S'bound take exit 165A to James; turn left onto James. I-5 N'bound take exit 164A to James; turn right onto James. Drive up the hill and move to left lane. At Broadway turn left onto Broadway and drive two blocks north to Columbia Street. Turn right on Columbia and then immediate left into the Seattle University Broadway Garage. After parking, exit the garage to the north. Walk down the stairs and hill on your right to the start point on the University's lower mall in front of Sullivan Hall at 800 11th Avenue. Bus: Metro # 12. Exit bus at Broadway & Madison & walk down the hill to 11th Ave; turn right and walk down the campus mall to start/finish point at 800 11th Avenue.

Comments: A multi-colored patch depicting the China Gate designed by Dorman Batson, is $10.00; includes credit for the event. 30 available. Water and restrooms at start/finish. There are many businesses with restrooms for "patrons" along the route. Pets are permitted but NOT in campus buildings. Owners are responsible for leash & cleanup laws.
