Description: This walk will have two 5 km loops. The first loop crosses the Hawthorne Bridge where you can watch the Dragon Boat Races, past City Fair with all the rides and concessions, Saturday Market and then Cross the Burnside Bridge where you can watch the parade. (In past years many walkers got front row seats during the parade as the Burnside bridge closes just before the start of parade.) Ample walking space on bridge as 3 traffic lanes and sidewalk are open for walkers. The second loop will go into the Belmont /Hawthorne area with their many restaurant and botique shops and historic homes.

Start Point / Driving Directions: Southbound I-5: Take exit 300B. Use LEFT lane as it turns away from the Willamette River onto SE Belmont St. Continue on Belmont to SE 9th Ave. Right on SE 9th Av. Street parking. I-5 Northbound I-5: Take exit 300 (Industrial Way). LEFT on SE 3rd Ave. Right on SE Belmont. Right on SE 9th Av. First building on left.
