Description: Start Point open daily except major holidays; M-F 10am-8pm; Sat 10am-6pm; Sun 12-5pm. Hours subject to change. The trail is mostly on paved sidewalks with some natural-surface segments. It weaves through parks and around a small lake as well as through residential neighborhoods in Burke Centre.

Start Point / Driving Directions: Burke Centre Shopping Center; 5715 Burke Centre Pkwy; 22015. (703)978-0500. (Call to verify start point open on inclement weather days.) I-66: Exit 55 (Fairfax County Pkwy/VA286) S to Fairfax, continue about 5.2 miles to Burke Centre Pkwy. Left on Burke Centre Pkwy, drive E about 0.7 miles to Ox (VA123), cross Ox, drive 1 block. Left to shopping center lot. Potomac River Running store next to CVS store. I-495 via Braddock: Capital Beltway (I-495), Exit 54A (Braddock W) to Fairfax, continue W on Braddock (VA620) about 6.0 miles. Pass entrances to George Mason University on right, shopping center on left, left on Ox (VA123), head S about 2.5 miles to Burke Centre Pkwy. Left on Burke Center Pkwy, head E 1 block. Left to shopping center lot. Potomac River Running store next to CVS store.

Comments: The Burke Centre 10 KM trail starts and ends at the start point. It is rated B2 and is not suitable for wheelchairs or strollers (except for large-wheel "off-road" strollers). The trail is mostly on paved sidewalks with some natural-surface segments. It weaves through parks and around a small lake as well as through residential neighborhoods in Burke Centre.
