Objective: To walk, visit, and enjoy schools of higher education and earn "walk degrees." Eligibility: Any IVV-AVA fee paying participant in a designated College Campus Program event is eligible to earn "credit" toward a degree award as established by this program. Timing: The program will be in effect January 2004 until December 31, 2008. Books must be postmarked no later than January 31, 2009. Criteria: Any sanctioned AVA event in the U.S. that includes a school of higher learning (e.g., junior college, community college, university, seminary, etc.) and whose walk route goes by the school will be considered a college campus walk. Procedure: After paying the fee (Award/Credit or Credit only), imprint the event stamp in this book. If this book is not available when you do the event, use an Insert Card, then attach to book.
To Order: The cost is $8.00. To request College Campus Event Books, send a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope and your check to: American Volkssport Association Road Scholar Program: Twenty additional walks to complete the Road Scholar Program. Reward: A diploma will be awarded after (5) different eligible events
have been completed for each "educational" level for Associate Degree, Bachelor
Degree, and Master Degree. After completion of Doctorate (Ph.D.), an award
patch will be earned.
