|
Everyone is welcome to participate. Children under 12
must be accompanied by an adult. Walk and/or Bike at your own pace.

Trail Rating – 1B.
All the Walks and the Bikes were previously rated 1.

TRAIL DESCRIPTIONS
|
The Rail Trail is a 10-foot wide, flat, natural surface
beside the Northern Central Railroad tracks. With the exception of the
track near York City most of the track is not in use at this time. Caution
is to be used at busy country road intersections. Strollers: Easy | Wheelchairs:
Medium | Pets: Yes | Restrooms: Yes. Trail and restrooms are ADA accessible.

RESTROOMS
|
Portable facilities are available in all of the parking lots,
except Glen Rock. Hanover Junction and New Freedom Train Stations now have
indoor facilities.

REGISTRATION/FEES
|
Every participant must register and carry a Start Card
while participating in the event. You may walk for free or Fee for Credit
is $3.00.
|

not liable for accidents, thefts, and/or material damage. Every effort will

(717)741-3485. The walk box is on
the front porch, under a bench, and is accessible at all times.

|
The store hours are:
Mon-Sat 7A.M. -9P.M.; Sun
Noon-6P.M. closed Christmas &
Easter. Abbreviated hours for all other major holidays. Call

DIRECTIONS TO PERRYDELL FARM STORE FOR REGISTRATION
|
From North or South take I-83 to Exit 14, Leaders Heights
exit. LEFT off exit ramp if coming from South, RIGHT if coming from North,
onto Leaders Heights Rd. (SR 182W) go through two lights, at the second
light (S. George St.) road name changes to Indian Rock Dam Rd. Dairy is a
half mile on left. (You will register and drive 18 miles to start point at
New Freedom. There is a port-a-john
at the trailhead at Railroad.)
