TRAIL DESCRIPTION:
Historic sites abound on this walk through downtown Plymouth! This route visits Plymouth’s historic sites which include the Forefathers’ Monument, Burial Hill, Jenney Grist Mill and Brewster Gardens enroute to Plymouth Harbor where Plymouth Rock and the “Mayflower II,” a reproduction of the ship that crossed the Atlantic with the Pilgrims aboard, are located. Additional attractions include Cranberry World Visitors’ Center, the Commonwealth Winery and multiple museums featuring the Pilgrims’ life, as well as expansive vistas of Plymouth Harbor. The AVA trail rating is 1.5 and is not suitable for wheelchairs or strollers.
