FINISH TIME: Prior to sunset. Rite Aid closes daily at 8 p.m.
TRAIL DESCRIPTION:
This walk route takes you past quaint shops, through the Minute Man National Historical Park, over the Old North Bridge, and past famous authors’ graves in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery. The route also passes the Alcotts’ Orchard House, the Wayside (part of the Underground Railway system for runaway slaves), the Concord Museum, and Ephraim Bull’s Grapevine Cottage. The AVA rating is 1.5, due to some steep paths in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery that are not recommended for strollers or wheelchairs.
