US FreedomWalk Festival awards are included in the registration price.
IML awards are purchased separately by all who walk at least 21 km on both Saturday and Sunday.
IVV awards are part of the registration price and the price of the IVV logbook

An embroidered patch to all who complete the 6 or 3 mile trails (10 or 5 kilometers) on Friday.  It is part of the registration price.

Friday’s “Arlington Welcome Walk Patch”

This regulation US military-style medal goes to all adults who complete any trail on Saturday or Sunday.  It is part of the registration price. It is a purchase item for youth who completes any of the trails on Saturday or Sunday.  A new ribbon design started in 2006 for the silver 5 year medal.

Surgeon General’s FreedomWalk Medal

Awarded to all who are walking in their second, third, or fourth US FreedomWalk Festival® in lieu of the medal.  This is part of the registration price.  Walkers receiving the first or fifth year medal can purchase this patch.

Event Patch

Awarded to all who complete the 44 kilometer trail on Saturday (27 miles).  It is included in the registration.

Subsequent year pin and achievements pins

Team Streamer

Number is awarded to all who are walking in their second, third, or fourth US FreedomWalk Festival® in lieu of the medal.  Part of the registration. 

Achievement pin is awarded if the walker successfully completes Saturday and Sunday trails of 21 or more kilometers (12 miles):

   Bronze pin:  Walking 21 km or more on both Saturday and Sunday.

    Silver pin:  Walking 21 km or more on both days (Saturday plus Sunday) in a team of 8 or more that register and walk together as a team.

   Gold pin:  Walking 44 km on Saturday AND 32 km on Sunday.  This is the highest achievement in this walking challenge.  It goes to teams in lieu of the silver pin if earned.

Awarded to a team of 8 or more walkers who earn the silver achievement pin or gold achievement pin.
