WELCOME! The Seacoast Striders invite you to join us for a 5km (3.1) and/or a 10km (6.2 miles) walk in Hampton, NH.
The Seacoast Striders invites everyone to the wonderful seaside town of Hampton, NH.. Hampton is a small town along the 13 miles of coastline New Hampshire.
START TIME: 9am-Noon
FINISH TIME: 3pm
PROCEDURE: Each participant must register, fill out a registration card and sign a waiver at the Start. Cards are validated at checkpoints during the event and must be turned in at finish table after completing the event.
TRAIL DESCRIPTION:
The 5/10km walk will be on residential streets and along the ocean.
The trail is rated 1+.
DIRECTIONS:
From I-95North and South: take Exit 2 at Hampton Tolls and go onto Rt. 101 East towards Hampton. Once on Rt. 101 stay in right lane and take Exit 13 to go onto Rt. 27. Bear right onto connecting road then turn right onto Rt. 26 East. Travel on Rt. 27 for many miles crossing Rt. 1 until you are almost to the ocean. Take the street (Kings Hwy) right before traffic light at Rt. 1A and ocean and go into parking lot on the left.
REGISTRATION & FEES: This event is FREE to anyone wishing to participate without receiving the award or IVV credit. Registration for IVV credit-only is $3.00. Everyone must register and carry a walk card. There will be no refunds and no pre-registration.
AWARDS: This is a credit only event.
FACILITIES: Water will be provided at the start/finish and at each checkpoint. Restroom facilities are available at the start/finish. You may carry refreshments, but please do not litter.
CONDITIONS: This event will be held regardless of weather conditions. There will be no refunds for any reasons.
RECORD BOOKS: Previous participants are reminded to bring their IVV Event and Distance Record Books. Books may be purchased for $5.00 at the Start/Finish.
PETS: Pets are allowed, but must be kept on a leash at all times and owners must clean up after them.
SANCTION IVV CREDIT: This event has been sanctioned by the American Volkssports Association (AVA) and the International Federation of Popular Sports (IVV). This event will be conducted under the rules of both governing organizations and by registering, the participants will be eligible to earn IVV credit for distance and event. IVV event credit may be taken only once within each sanctioned period for each event, however distance credit may be taken each time the event is completed.
