TRAIL DESCRIPTION: Exeter, settled in 1638, is a town rich in history and architecture. Your walk will take you through this former state capitol, along the Squamscott River, through the beautiful Phillips Exeter Academy campus and include a visit to the Powder House used to store gunpowder “removed” from Fort William & Mary prior to the start of the American Revolution. Some areas may not be suitable for wheelchairs or strollers. Pets allowed but must be leashed. Cleanup laws apply. AVA trail rating 1.5.

| From NORTH or SOUTH:
From I-93 take Exit 7 onto Rt. 101 EAST or from I-95 take Exit 2 onto Rt. 101 WEST. From EAST or WEST take Rt. 101 and take Route 108 South exit. At end of ramp turn left (right if from Rt. 101 West) at lights heading towards downtown Exeter. At 3rd traffic light (2nd traffic light if coming from Rt. 101 EAST) Rite-Aid will be on your left. REGISTRATION & FEES: At the start location, the walk box should be at the 3rd register if not request the event box at the Customer Service Desk. It will contain instructions and all the necessary information for your event. Please exercise patience at the registration as the first responsibility of our location host is to their own customers. Everyone must register and carry a walk card.
AWARD and FEE: This is a credit only event. Credit only is $3.00. You may walk free, donations are appreciated. Preferred method of payment is by check made out to "Seacoast Striders." There will be no refunds.
SANCTION IVV CREDIT: The AVA and the International Federation of Popular have sanctioned This event Sports (IVV). This event will be conducted under the rules of those governing organizations and by registering the participants will be eligible to earn IVV credit for distance and event.
