You may walk anytime during daylight hours. Water and restrooms are available at the start, restaurants and public buildings along the route.
TRAIL DESCRIPTION: This 10km walk is through New Hampshire's historic capital city settled in 1727. Visible as you approach the start point is the gold-domed granite State House. It was built in 1819 and is the oldest state capitol in which the legislature still meets in the original chambers. You will pass other government buildings, historic churches, gracious residences and the shopping district on your walk.
Plan time to visit the Kimball-Jenkins Estate, the Franklin Pierce House and the Museum of New Hampshire History (all with nominal fees) on your visit to Concord.
Trail is rated 1+, with a few hills. Suitable for wheelchairs and strollers. Leashed pets are allowed as long as they are cleaned up after.
DIRECTIONS: From I-93 take Exit 14. If coming from the south, turn left at the end of the ramp. Coming from the north, turn right at the end of the ramp. Very shortly turn right onto North Main St. and the Inn is immediately on the right. From the east, take route 4 to Route 9 and turn right onto North Main St..

REGISTRATION & FEES: At the start location, request the event box. It will contain instructions and all the necessary information for your event. Please exercise patience at the registration as the first responsibility of our location host is to their own customers. Everyone must register and carry a walk card.
AWARD and FEE: This is a 'B' award event. Several different awards from past years will be available. Cost of a 'B' award and IVV credit is $4.00. Credit only is $3.00. You may walk free, donations are appreciated. Preferred method of payment is by check made out to "Seacoast Striders." There will be no refunds.
SANCTION IVV CREDIT: the AVA and the International Federation of Popular have sanctioned This event Sports (IVV). This event will be conducted under the rules of those governing organizations and by registering the participants will be eligible to earn IVV credit for distance and event.
