Ernest Albert Wykes, of Hatboro, born in Beverly, Massachusetts, passed away at his residence on October 30, 2009, he was 72 years old. After serving in the Air Force, Ernie attended Northeastern University where he received his Electrical Engineering Degree. He then completed his Master's Degree in Engineering Science at Penn State University. Ernie was a member of the Liberty Bell Wanderers Walking Club and was proud to have walked an event in all 50 States. He loved to read, listen to music and was a long time member of the Hatboro YMCA. Ernie was an avid New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox and Penn State sports fan. He is survived by his children Alissa and Dave, his two grandsons, DJ and Danny; a sister Sandy and brother Dave.
