SPONSOR: Penn Dutch Pacers Volksmarch Club (AVA579), a nonprofit organization promoting fitness through noncompetitive family sports.
SANCTION: The event is sanctioned by the American Volkssport Association (AVA), a member of the International Federation of Popular Sports (IVV). Participation in this event counts for credit toward IVV Achievement Awards. IVV Award Books will be available at the Start/Finish area for $5.00.
START POINT: Freeze & Frizz Inc, 45 N Broad St, Lititz, PA - (717) 569-1231. There is plenty of FREE parking.
STARTING TIMES AND DATE: Sunday ONLY, November 29 • Start anytime between 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM, finish by 4:00 PM.
TRAIL DESCRIPTION: The 10K trail is entirely within the boundaries of Lititz Borough and Warwick Township and is rated 2. Sidewalks, paved trails, and a section of narrow roadway would be useable by wheelchairs but not recommended especially during inclement weather.
DISCLAIMER: The Penn Dutch Pacers cannot be held responsible for any lost or stolen items, damage, accidents or injuries of any kind at any time. Every reasonable effort will be made by the sponsors to make the event safe, enjoyable and memorable for everyone.
CONDITIONS: Littering is forbidden along the trail. Pets are welcome and must be leashed at all times. Also all local ordinances requiring cleaning up after your pets must be followed. All participants must carry a validated Start Card. Events will be held regardless of weather conditions.
ELIGIBILITY: All are welcome to participate but must register at the start. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian unless participating with an organized and supervised youth group.
AWARD: The award, a full color embroidered patch as pictured on the front of this brochure, is the last of the Penn Dutch Pacer series of 12 patches, each depicting the 12 days of Christmas.
REGISTRATION: Every participant must register and carry a Start Card.
- Participation only, without IVV Credit, is $2.00, children 12 and under may participate for free.
- The fee for IVV credit is $3.00
- Credit & award $7.00 pre-registered and $8.00 day of event.

Points East - New Jersey, New York, and Philadelphia using the PA Turnpike: Exit PA Turnpike at the Reading / Lancaster interchange and proceed SOUTH on Rt. 222. Exit Rt. 222 at Rt. 772 (Brownstown Exit) and proceed WEST to Lititz. Turn Right go two blocks Freeze & Frizz is on the right immediately after crossing the railroad tracks (directly across the street from Wilbur Chocolate).
Central PA - York, Hanover, Harrisburg, Gettysburg, etc: Rt. 30 EAST to Rt. 501 North Exit Rt. 501 NORTH to Lititz (approximately 6.5 miles). Freeze & Frizz is on the right immediately after crossing the railroad tracks (directly across the street from Wilbur Chocolate).
Central PA - via PA Turnpike: PA Turnpike to Lancaster / Lebanon Interchange (Exit 20) Go SOUTH on Rt. 72 to Manheim Turn LEFT on Fruitville Pk/Rt 772 east and proceed to Lititz where it becomes W Orange St. Turn left (north) on Broad Street (501). Freeze & Frizz is on the right immediately across the street from Wilbur Chocolate.
Points South - Baltimore, Washington D.C., etc: Interstate I-83 (in Baltimore I-295) NORTH to US Route 30 East. Route 30 EAST to Rt. 501 North. Exit NORTH on 501 to Lititz (approximately 6.5 miles) Freeze & Frizz is on the right immediately after crossing the railroad tracks (directly across the street from Wilbur Chocolate).
