SANCTION: The event is sanctioned by the American Volkssport Association (AVA), a member of the International Federation of Popular Sports (IVV). Participation in this event counts for credit toward IVV Achievement Awards. IVV Award Books will be available at the Start/Finish area for $5.00.
START POINT: Cornwall Iron Furnace, 94 Rexmont Road Cornwall, PA 17016 • (717) 272-9711. There is ample off-street parking at the startpoint.
STARTING TIMES AND DATE: Saturday ONLY, April 21, 2012 • Start anytime between 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM, finish by 4:00 PM.
TRAIL DESCRIPTION: The 10k trail, rated 1A begins at the historic Cornwall Iron Furnace. The walk is primarily along rural roadways and includes a section of the scenic Lebanon Valley Rail Trail. Due to local road conditions, the trail is unsuitable for wheel chairs. High wheeled strollers should experience little difficulty.

CONDITIONS: Littering is forbidden along the trail. Pets are welcome and must be leashed at all times. Also all local ordinances requiring cleaning up after your pets must be followed. All participants must carry a validated Start Card. Events will be held regardless of weather conditions.
ELIGIBILITY: All are welcome to participate but must register at the start. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian unless participating with an organized and supervised youth group.
AWARD: The award, a full color embroidered patch as pictured on the front of this brochure, shows the Cornwall Iron Furnace, our startpoint for the walk.

From Baltimore/Washington Area South & York West: Interstate 83 to York PA. Exit US 30 east toward Lancaster. Exit US 30 to Route 283 West then almost immediately exit Route 283 onto Route 72 North. Follow Route 72 north toward Lebanon to Route 117. Take Route 117 East 1 mile. Turn left on Burd Coleman Road. Then right onto Rexmont Rd. Follow Rexmont Rd about 1/2 mile. Cornwall Iron Furnace will be on your right.
From Harrisburg Area, North & Northeast: Take Route 322 east from Harrisburg to Route 117 or from Lebanon take Route 72 south to Route 117. Take Route 117 East 1 mile. Turn left on Burd Coleman Road. Then right onto Rexmont Rd. Follow Rexmont Rd about 1/2 mile. Cornwall Iron Furnace will be on your right.
From Philadelphia & East: Take PA turnpike west to exit Lebanon-Lancaster Exit #266. Turn left (north) onto Route 72 north toward Lebanon to Route 117. Take Route 117 East 1 mile. Turn left on Burd Coleman Road. Then right onto Rexmont Rd. Follow Rexmont Rd about 1/2 mile. Cornwall Iron Furnace will be on your right.
