Start time:

9 a.m. until 1 p.m., finish by 4 p.m.

This walk will be on paved park trails, city sidewalks, and unimproved park/forest roads. There will be park restrooms available and restaurants near the starting point. We encourage you to carry water. The walk goes through natural areas and city parks, past antique shops and through a cemetery. The Capital Area Balloon Rally will be going on, so hot air balloons may be visible during the walk. Dogs must be leashed. Please do not take dogs into buildings and please collect any waste your dog leaves.

Water will be available at the start/finish and checkpoint. Restrooms and parking are available at the start.

IVV credit only $3, B Awards available.
Girl Scout patches will be available for $1 additional.

This event is sanctioned by the American Volkssport Association (AVA), a member of the International Federation of Popular Sports (IVV).

This event counts toward the acquisition of IVV Achievement Awards.

All participants will receive a start card. Walkers must carry the card on the walk and present it at the check points. All start cards are the property of Historic Pathwalkers and must be turned in at the finish point when the walk is completed.

The sponsors are not liable for accidents, thefts, and/or material damage. Every effort will be made by the sponsors to make this a safe, enjoyable, and memorable event.

Directions:

From I-96, take 127 south from Lansing to the Kipp Rd. exit in Mason. Turn left onto Kipp Rd. At the second light, turn left onto Jefferson. Kean's will be on the left. Parking is available behind the store; turn left at the light.

From I-94, take 127 north from Jackson. Take the Kipp Rd. exit, turn right onto Kipp Rd. At the second light, turn left onto Jefferson. Kean's will be on the left. Parking available behind the store; turn left at the light.
