Start Point: Quality Food Center QFC 14160 NE 175th, Woodinville, WA 98077
Directions: I-405 Exit #23, head east (SR522) to Monroe/Wenatchee. Take first exit (SR202) and turn right. Continue to second stoplight and turn left on NE 175th to 140th Ave. Cross 140th and turn left into the QFC Shopping Center. I-405 southbound: Exit 23A and continue as above.
Event Info: Daily, dawn to dusk. Limited hours Thanksgiving, closed Christmas. Flat, easy, pleasant walk on sidewalks around Woodinville shops and eateries with many flowers, past beautiful parks, a cemetery, under a railroad bridge, through the country by the river on paved Sammammish River Trail with wildlife and birds, to the fun Red Hook Brewery and Columbia Winery with a 2K option to the famous Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery grounds. Tours and wine tasting available. Great evening walk in the summer. Event was voted as 4th best in the nation in 2001. Water and restrooms at start/finish and at various parks along the route.
