2005 BIENNIAL AVA CONVENTION:
IVV Silver Distinguished Achievement Award: Shirley Lindberg was awarded the IVV Silver Distinguished Achievement Award for promoting volkssporting at the local, state, national and international level for over 15 years and for service as President and Vice President of AVA. Treasurer of the Washington State Association and President/Vice President of the Interlaken Trailblazers Volkssport Club. In addition, Shirley has developed and coordinated five large quality events in Renton. She has also volunteered for many committees at all levels.

AVA Special Recognition:
Bob Kunzmann -
Bob has helped the Interlaken Trailblazers grow and prosper. With his enthusiasm, club membership has escalated. He sells New Walker Packets at a swift pace and has developed new trails for club events. Speaking at Senior Centers, Health Fairs or corporate gatherings, he promotes volkssporting.
Don Lindberg -
For supporting volkssporting at the local level, state level and national level and for service to AVA and local volkssport clubs for 15 years. He had a major position in helping with the 2001 AVA Convention. Don has volunteered for many AVA activities.
Stan Wolf -
For recognition in promoting volkssporting at Senior Centers, Rotary Clubs, City Council Meetings, Museums, Libraries and for serving as Treasurer of Interlaken Trailblazers Volkssport Club, Area Coordinator of the Washington State Organization and for developing and coordinating two quality events in Kirkland and two year round walks.
