11K(2) Walk (YR1008) Seasonal Walk July 3, 2009 - October 31, 2009
Start Point: REMOTE REGISTRATION. To register with club print and sign waiver and send with fee. We will send you directions. After you walk we will send you insert cards. Please try to submit your application at least 1 week before you walk.(Mail to Sharon Moats 2815 Lincoln Pl NE Renton, WA 98056). If you do not have access to print we can also mail form to you. Directions: You will be starting your walk at the Mid Valley Hospital. North on Hwy 97 to Pateros. Continue on 97 to Omak. Exit into Omak on Omak Ave. Cross Bridge to Main St. Left on Main to 4th Ave. Right on 4th Ave to Okoma Dr. Angle left on Okoma to Hospital.
Event Info: Daily, dawn to dusk. Thank you Bavarian Volkssport Club for creating a Volkswalk in this community. Flat, easy pleasant walk on sidewalks around Omak downtown and eateries, past parks, a cemetery, along the river and through the Omak Stampede and Rodeo site. Walk is on city streets and sidewalks past park and college over river and into Stampede and Rodeo area. Water and restrooms at start/finish and at various parks along the route. Pets are permitted but owners are responsible for leash and clean-up laws. Not suitable for wheelchairs and strollers.
