Start Point: La Quinta Inn, 10530 NE Northup Way, Kirkland, WA 98033 (425) 828-6585.

Directions: From I-5 N or S, exit 168B to SR 520 E to Bellevue. Exit 520 at Lake Washington Blvd N (Rt. 908) to Kirkland. Right at light to Northup Way. Left at La Quinta Inn (approx. one block).

From I-405 N or S, exit to SR 520 W to Seattle. Exit 520 immediately. Right at bottom of exit onto 108 Ave. NE. Left at next light onto Northup Way. Right at La Quinta Inn (approx. two blocks) on right. Metro Bus routes: 230, 235, 251, 254, 255, 258, 262, or 275.

Event Info: Daily 1 January - 31 December, dawn to dusk. Trail is rated 2 and is not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs due to stairs. Leashed pets allowed with clean up. The trail follows a generally north/south direction. Outdoor sculptures are located along the route and the Lake Washington waterfront is lined with well landscaped condominiums and parks, views of the Olympic Mountains and Seattle skyline. The downtown area is a charming mix of galleries, shops and eateries. Restrooms are available at the start/finish, Carillon Point, and various parks depending on the time of year.
