General Information
Registration: At the start location, ask the desk clerk or cashier for the volkssport walk box. Please remember that the start locations are places of business. Be patient and allow them to serve their regular customers and guests first. Complete the paperwork for the event in accordance with the instructions in the box. Each person must register and obtain a start card. This card must be carried on the walk and turned in upon completion of the event.
IVV Credit:
· EVENT credit can be earned twice during the year for each event. Once during the period January 1 through June 30 and again during the period July 1 through December 31.
· DISTANCE credit may be earned without limit. Please note that you may only complete the trail twice in the same day on each start card. Additional distance credit will require another start card and registration fee.
· BIKE EVENTS: Bike distance may either be entered to the special bike distance record book or to your regular distance book.
Eligibility: Everyone is welcome to participate in these events. An adult must accompany children under 12 years of age. Groups are welcome. Please contact us if you are bringing a large group so that we may assist with the registration procedures.
Conditions: ALL TRAILS MUST BE COMPLETED DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS. A waiver form must be signed for children who wish to participate in the bike events. Pets must be kept on a leash of 6 feet or less at all times. Please clean up after your pet. Litter must be placed in designated containers only.
