Year-Round (or Seasonal) events (YRE’s) are walks you can
do yourself most any day of the year or part of the year.
Exceptions are noted. Register yourself and find directions at a
local business or facility, which has agreed to be the registration
location. Sometimes these materials are in a file
cabinet within the establishment, or in a file box
that might be kept behind a counter. Many walkers enjoy doing YRE's
when they travel to other parts of the country -- a great way to see
the area. They are also an excellent way to get your exercise between
regular events.
for the American Volkssport Association's web page
to find other year-round or regular events.
