Dick Koonce and Patty Proulx, AVA Secretary and Ginny Drumm AVA VP.

A big appreciation for the many unnamed volunteers, CRVC officers, and
Dick Koonce for donating those hundreds of service hours so that walkers might enjoy the events of the Post-Rose Parade Walkand particularly the multiple Gorge Walks held during an extended week of heat wave!!
(the notes that had the names for those above seemed to have taken a
walk.)

Dick Koonce is exhaustively working the collaborative process among the
many business and legal entities of Cascade Locks to ensure that issues are addressed and that the Gorge Events might again be welcomed at that venue. If there are tasks you might be available for, let the CRVC officers know.

NORTHWEST WALKING MAGAZINE: Read the July 2004 issue for its coverage
on the 2004 Awards that were presented during the Gorge Events and for OTSVA statements on  handling of suggestions and submission of YRE sanctions, with ending
deadline of August 31.

WALKING QUOTATION:
"Take a two-mile walk every morning before breakfast."
~ ~Harry Truman (advice on how to live to be 80 on his 80th birthday).
