About
the walk:
This
walk goes through the trendy Westport area, past the Vietnam Memorial and
fountain, the Kemper Art Gallery and through the Kansas City Art Institute
grounds. Walkers will also see the
world famous Nelson-Atkins Art Museum and Sculpture Garden, the University
of Missouri Kansas City campus and walk through the Crestwood Homes
area. Other points of interest
include the Discovery Center, an urban conservation area, the Kauffman
gardens, Brush Creek and Mill Creek Park.
There are a few hills and some stairs on this route, but the
beautiful homes and sculptures are worth the extra effort.

Direction
to the Walk:
St. Luke's Center for Health Enhancement, 4200 Wornall
Road, Kansas City, MO 64111: From I-70: Take I-35 South. Exit onto the
Southwest Trafficway, continue south to 43rd St. Turn left on 43rd, and
drive to Wornall. Turn left, and drive to the start point. From the South:
Take I-35 to Highway US 56. Turn East (right) on 47th to Wornall Rd. and
drive north (left) to the start point. Please park on the street or away
from the building.
The walk box is located under a small table in the lobby
area, along the stairs.
