may be found on the street. There is a parking lot on South
Main near the Hall of Waters, and there
is another parking lot behind
the Oaks Hotel on Marietta Street.

Walk
Description
Excelsior
Springs was a well-known health and mineral water resort. You
will start the walk in a museum building designed by Louis Curtis, walk
by the famous art deco Hall of Waters and the recently restored Oaks
Hotel. You will also see the famous Elms Hotel, where Harry
Truman spent the night before he was elected in 1948. About half
of the walk is on trails, and the other half is on sidewalk and
roads. Enjoy walking through and seeing the restoreddowntown
Excelsior Springs.

Take US 69 highway
to Wornall Rd. Take Wornell East to N. Kansas City Ave. Turn South to
Broadway then East to Main St. |
