On this weekend, Capital City Wanderers held four events in four counties in central western Alabama.
Saturday morning, we walked in Moundville Archeological
State Park at Moundville in Hale Co. It was a cold but bright
day.
Saturday afternoon, we walked in Foscue Creek State Park
outside Demopolis in Marengo Co. The first half was guided
through the campground to the Tombigbee River, then on our
own on the nature trail. It had warmed up slightly but was
still bright.
Sunday morning, we walked in Livingston and the University
of West Alabama in Sumter Co. It was gray but warmer.
Sunday afternoon, we walked through historic Eutaw in
Greene Co.
