Trail: This walk tours Historic Huntsville:
Twickenham and Old Towne Historic districts; antebellum
commercial structures, downtown parks and a lake; and Maple
Hill Cemetery (200 Confederate soldiers and more than 180
Union soldiers buried here).
Civil War : Maple Hill cemetery where 200 Confederate and 180+ Union soldiers are buried,Rated 2 (moderate ). Difficult for strollers and not appropriate for wheelchairs due to several hills and many steps.

and Walk the USA, A-Z Program : the letter "H".
Start Time: The Visitor's Center hours are Mon-Sat 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Sunday hours are Noon to 5:00 PM. It is closed Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. You may walk dawn to dusk but you must register and obtain your stamp for IVV credit during the Visitor's Center business hours.

Directions: From I-65 take exit #340 to I-565
Eastbound (towards Huntsville). Take exit 19C from I-565
bearing to the right onto Jefferson St. Turn right at the 1st
light onto Monroe Street. Turn right onto Church Street and
cross the railroad tracks. The Visitor's Center is on the
right.
