Best Western Icicle Inn is located on Hwy 2 at the West end of Leavenworth.
Awards: All walks are CREDIT only, which is $3.00,
and free skiers are welcome. Hat pins are available. All skiing will be done
during daylight hours. There will be water and restrooms at start/finish.
Carry your water for trail.

Ski along the Icicle River, through woods, across meadows,
and over bridges. Trail is essentially level. Adults must buy a daily ski
pass $10.00 or a 2 day pass for $16.00 which is good on all Leavenworth ski
trails that day. Seniors over 69 and children under 12 ski free.

Start Point: Icicle Inn, Best Western
Directions: From: Seattle I-5 N. to Everett, Hwy 2 to Leavenworth.
From Spokane: Hwy 2 through Waterville, to E. Wenatchee to Leavenworth.
Awards: The walk is CREDIT only, which is $3.00, and free walkers are

Town Walk
Rating: 2+
Route takes you through the Bavarian town of Leavenworth, parks and some residential areas. Scenic views of mountains and its surroundings. It is suitable for wheelchairs and strollers.
Icicle Gorge Walk
Rating: 2
A dirt trail loop along the Icicle River and along the Icicle Gorge area. Trail has beautiful forest and mountain scenery.

The Iron Goat Trail follows the original route of the railroad. You will see tunnels, snow sheds, many train artifacts and many view points of the mountains. The trail is very well maintained, and has many interpretive signs about the building of the tracks.

bridge turn right on Woodin. Turn left on Navarre
(just past elementary school.) Go four blocks to Eli St., Turn right and go
one block to LCC Hospital.

Start Point: Safeway, 501 N. Miller, Wenatchee, WA.
Directions: From Spokane: I-90 Exit #149. Right on SR-281 to Quincy. Left on SR-28 to East Wenatchee. Left Across Seller Bridge. Right on Mission St. and then left on Fifth St. to SAFEWAY at Fifth and Miller Sts.
From Seattle: I-90 eastbound. Take US-97 to US-2 and turn Right on US-2. Cross Wenatchee River to Wenatchee Ave. At the fifth stoplight, free right turn onto Miller St. to SAFEWAY at Miller and Fifth Sts.

It will be in the area of the college. It is not suitable for strollers and/or wheelchairs. Pets are permitted but owners are responsible for leash and clean-up laws. Also you will walk through part of Riverfront Park and the bridge over the RR tracks and through downtown.
City/Cemetery Walk
Rating: 1+
This walk is through the city, paved roads and sidewalks, two short up hills to the cemetery and pass a city park, college, new residential areas and retirement homes. Suitable for wheelchairs.

The route takes you through some historical parts of town, residential area, along county road to the Golden Tiger Trail. This is a paved trail on an old railroad bed, with great views of the mountains. There is a hill when you return to start point. Pets allowed and follow leash laws. Not good for wheelchairs but strollers maybe. Water and restrooms at the start and finish.
