Start Point:  Best Western Icicle Inn, 505 Hwy 2

From Seattle:  Hwy 2 to Leavenworth, entering Leavenworth, Best Western is on the right.  From East Hwy 2 to Leavenworth, go through town to west end.  Best Western is on the left.

Walk Rated 1A:  This route takes you through the Bavarian town of Leavenworth, parks, and some residential areas.  You will see where some historical buildings and train tracks were and what is there now.  Walk along the Wenatchee River, crossing bridges to Blackbird Island and to the new Upper Valley Museum.  There are many scenic views of the town, river and mountains, be sure and bring your cameras.
