Start Point:  Best Western Icicle Inn, 505 Hwy 2

From Seattle:  Hwy 2 to Leavenworth, entering Leavenworth, Best Western is on the right.  From East Hwy 2 to Leavenworth, go through town to west end.  Best Western is on the left.

Walk Rated 2+:  This route takes you through the Bavarian town of Leavenworth, parks, and some residential areas.  You will see where some historical buildings and train tracks were and what is there now.  Walk along the Wenatchee River, crossing bridges to Blackbird Island and to the new Upper Valley Museum.  You also pass by the old North Road Cemetery, fire station and murals.  There are scenic views of mountains.
